Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay terraced house with shops at ground. Harled with painted ashlar dressings. Base course; cornice and blocking course; regular fenestration. 3 doors to centre flanked by 2 shop windows at ground. Pair of large piend-roofed slate-hung dormers.

Timber sash and case plate glass and 12-pane windows. Grey slates; brick stacks (reduced to W); ashlar coped skews.

Statement of Interest

Catrine was built to provide housing for the local mill which formerly adjoined Mill Square to the W. B Group with No 8 St Germain Street and The Royal.
