Statement of Interest

The building has a steeply pitched roof which was probably thatched originally. The building is one of the few buildings in High Street which has not been raised by a storey or altered extensively either in 19th or early 20th century. The building, including the shop front at ground, was as now in circa 1880. The windows at 1st floor were 4-pane timber sash and case in 1920s.
