Description

Earlier 19th century with later additions and alterations. 3-storey, 3-bay terraced building, sited on falling ground to SW. Painted line-render, plain margins; gablehead to SW; whinstone rubble to rear and to projection from rear.

NW (WEST PORT) ELEVATION: bays distributed irregularly at ground. Door in bay to centre at ground (left of centre); window to 1st and 2nd floors above, at centre, breaking eaves with gabled dormerhead at 2nd floor. Window to each floor of flanking bays, narrower window in bay to left, at ground, position to left of bays above; broader window at ground of bay to right at ground; each window at 2nd floor breaking eaves as at centre.

SE ELEVATION: projection from bay to centre and to left.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof with brick wallhead stack to SW; harled coped mutual stack to NE.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1996.
