Description

Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Planning Authority

Later 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan cottage. Painted rubble. ashlar margins.

E (MAIN) ELEVATION: advanced gabled bay to outer left, chamfered arrises corbelled to square; window to front, smaller windows on right and left returns. Simple boarded door to right; window to outer right.

12-pane timber sash and case windows; 4-pane side windows (horizontal glazing bars. Graded grey slate roof, lead flashings. Tall red sandstone ridge stack, paired corniced octagonal cans.

Statement of Interest

A simple but very well-detailed cottage situated facing Luss Pier. The octagonal chimney stacks & treatment of the projecting front gable are particularly good.
