Description

Mid to later 19th century. 4-storey, 2-bay tenement with shop at ground. Ground floor cornice, 1st and 2nd floor cill courses and eaves cornice with blocking course. Painted ashlar. Architraved windows at 1st and 2nd floors.

N (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: modern centre door shop at ground, 2 windows to each floor above, those to 3rd floor smaller.

4-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows above ground; fixed display windows at ground. Coped ashlar gablehead stacks, that to W truncated, that to E with cans; ashlar-coped skews.

Listed in consideration of High Street position and for group value with irregular terrace of 19th century buildings.
