Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. Broad 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular plan house. Squared and snecked sandstone, ashlar dressings, base course, eaves band, raised margins, quoin strips.

NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: wide central doorway, 2-leaf boarded door and letterbox fanlight, off-centre window at 1st floor flanking bays with stone mullioned bipartites, larger at ground floor.

NE AND SW ELEVATIONS: part of terrace.

4-pane timber sash and case windows of varying ages, modern replacements at No 48 ground floor, grey slate, stone skews, corniced ashlar gablehead stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
