Description

Later 19th century. Substantial horizontal mill sited to SW of house. Mill conforms to standard arrangement of rectangular gabled drystone rubble building containing upper and lower houses with square openings to inlet and outlet. Floor and millstone surviving internally. Flight of stone steps adjoining N side.

Statement of Interest

B Group with Burrastow House and Burrastow Cottage. Burrastow was a seat of the Henry family, but was bought for use as a summerhouse by a Colonel Foster, who was a Yorkshire mill owner, and extended.
