Description

Circa 1960. 2-storey, 3-bay terraced house, harled with red sandstone ashlar margins, eaves band, projecting cills.

W (BOW STREET) ELEVATION: entrance at centre in roll-moulded surround, 4 steps with hand rails, large windows to left and right. Regular swept dormers breaking eaves above

E ELEVATION: 3 bays at ground; small window to centre quasi-stone-mullioned tripartite to left, window to right. Regular fenestration above.

UPVC tilt and turn windows, grey slates, mutual stack in S gable with adjoining property.

Statement of Interest

Modern essay in traditional Scottish domestic design in burgh streetscape, part of a wider municipal scheme in the idiom in Baker, Bow and St John Streets.
