Statement of Interest

The very small size of windows to the W, the large gap between these windows and the eaves and the comparatively large dimensions of the stacks are features which would suggest an early 19th century date. Despite the additions and alterations, it remains an interesting survivor of such an early building type. It is reported to have been used as J Linklater's coal store some time between 1900 and 1972.
