Statement of Interest

Having been a tailor's and a saddler's, from around 1900, the property became a tobacconist subsequently and remained so until 1965. There existed a Cooperage 'on the pier opposite the Commercial Hotel', owned by G G Baillie and Co, which ceased operating about 1925-6.
