Description

Later 19th century. Set to NE of Whitchester House.

MAIN ENTRANCE: low coped quadrant walls flanking recessed central entrance with decorative wrought-iron railings; panelled octagonal-plan, ball-finialled iron piers to outer ends. Paired sandstone ashlar octagonal piers at centre with tiered caps and ball finials; central 2 leaf decorative wrought-iron gates; decorative pedestrian entrance gates in flanking bays.

TURNING POINT: low coped unbroken quadrant wall opposite entrance forming turning area; decorative wrought-iron railings; 2 scrolled brackets to rear; panelled octagonal-plan, ball finialled iron pier to outer right (missing to left).
