Statement of Interest

Modern "Soutar Cottage" within walled garden not included in listing. The omission of Fetteresso Walled Garden from the 1st and 2nd Edition OS. maps is curious as the walls, which survive in remarkable condition, undoubtedly pre-date the 20th century. The unusual summerhouse was supposedly where the ladies from nearby Fetteresso Castle (see separate listing) came to drink tea and enjoy the view on fine afternoons.
