Statement of Interest

Formerly Coldingham Public School. Erected by the School Board of Coldingham Parish, at a total cost of ?2,150. Very similar to the nearby Reston Primary School, built by the same school board 4 years later - see separate list entry, 'Reston, Reston Primary School'. A photograph published by Thomson shows ogee-capped, louvred ridge vents and the original gatepiers in place at Coldingham in 1908 (no longer in place 1999).
