Description

Later 19th century. 2 pairs of circular-plan iron gatepiers and gates marking entrances to Ardwell Estate. Ornate iron railings with additional gatepier to right; curved boundary wall to plainer 2nd pair to E; 2-leaf gates, decorative finials to all gatepiers. Rubble boundary walls enclosing site.

Statement of Interest

B-group with Ardwell House, walled garden and East Lodge. Gatepiers mark the N entrances to Ardwell Estate.
