Early to earlier 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 4-bay house with shops at ground and nepus gable; Rubble with stone margins and quoin strips. Ground floor cornice.
SE (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: shop in bay to left of centre with in-canted 2-leaf part-glazed timber door and flanking display windows; door with plate glass fanlight immediately to right of centre with fixed display window beyond and further timber door with plate glass fanlight to outer right. 4 windows to 1st floor with nepus gable to centre above.
SW ELEVATION: gabled elevation with window to outer right at 1st floor.
12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case window to nepus; plate glass glazing in top-opening timber windows elsewhere Graded slates. Coped ashlar stacks with thackstanes; ashlar-coped skews; cast-iron downpipes with decorative rainwater hoppers.
GATEPIERS: flat-coped, square-section, ashlar gatepiers.
Not included in this listing (owing to the existancece of a live planning application) is a fine 2-storey, clay-pantiled range to rear with segmental-arched openings at ground and small square windows to 1st floor; higher ground to the rear elevation leads to a narrow doorway in roof pitch.
