W RANGE: 6-bay elevation with window to outer right below earlier inset carved pediment with

floreate finial (see Notes) and door (with slab lintel) immediately to left, door and window to centre bays (probably in blocked cart-opening), pend opening to left of centre and broad 2-leaf timber door to outer left.

S RANGE: piended, 4-bay range with small flat-roofed extension to outer left. Door in bay to left, 2 windows (enlarged) to centre and broad opening to outer right.

OUTER ELEVATIONS:

N RANGE: small window opening (blocked) to left of centre with tiny opening to outer left.

S RANGE: window in bay to left, and small gabled house adjoining (?) to outer right at right angles.

4-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in casement windows. Grey slates.

Statement of Interest

Parts of the steading, particularly the W range, seem to be contemporary with the original Glendevon House of 1766. The ranges have group value in consideration with the existing listings of Glendevon House, Entrance Archway and Bridge. The early carved pediment (see above) is badly eroded but retains evidence of a carved tympanum and clear daisy detail to the circular finial.
