Description

Possibly 18th century, with later alterations. Single storey and attic 3-bay house at centre of short terrace. Painted rubble walls.

S ELEVATION: symmetrical 3-bay. Doorway at centre; panelled door. Single windows in flanking bays. Piend-roofed dormerheads breaking eaves above.

INTERIOR: not seen 2000.

Modern timber windows. Purple-grey slate roof; substantial gablehead and mutual stacks.

Statement of Interest

B-Group with Scalloway Main Street, Olaf View and St Clair Court. Although this group has been subject to later alteration, it still indicates the appearance of the houses that lined the waterfront. It is possible that the 1st floor windows were originally small and square in shape, and set below the eaves.
