Description

Late 18th century. Single and 2-storey, 6-bay, rectangular-plan miller's house. Squared and snecked rubble with ashlar dressings.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: door to centre bay at ground, windows in flanking bays, that to right enlarged and that to left converted to door leading to modern conservatory, and regular fenestration to 1st floor with large modern rooflights over outer bays. 3 windows to single storey bays at right.

NE ELEVATION: gablehead window to single storey wing and tiny window high up to left in recessed 2-storey face.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-storey bays with window to right at ground and 2 further windows to left at 1st floor. Door with adjacent window to left of single storey wing with window to right.

9-pane glazing pattern to fixed timber window to NW; plate glass glazing in modern windows elsewhere. Concrete tiles. Coped harled/rendered? stacks with thackstanes and cans; ashlar-coped skews with block skewputts.
