Probably 18th century with later alterations. Random rubble bridge with two segmental arches, one larger than the other, carrying A85 over Ogle Burn. Low, coped random rubble parapet extends along road to SE. There is a cutwater to the NW elevation only. Concrete base and repairs to SE spans.
This bridge lies at the end of the Crieff-Lochearnhead Road, which was upgraded to a turnpike road in the early 19th century. It was, however, an important road before this date, and is clearly shown, with a bridge, on Taylor and Skinner's road map of 1776. It is not known whether this bridge is the original bridge, or a replacement that was erected when the road was upgraded to a turnpike: an advertisement for tenders for road and bridges from E to W end of Loch Earn was placed in the Edinburgh Evening Courant in 1814. The bridge appears to have been widened to the SE in the early 20th century, as the 2nd edition OS map seems to show it to be narrower than it is now.
