Earlier 19th century. 2-storey and basement double-fronted end of terrace house built into sloping ground with rear lean-to wing adjoining 2-storey byre at lower level. Tripartite windows to principal (S) elevation. Exterior rendered and incised in imitation of ashlar; ashlar dressings. Coped skews. Architraved openings to principal (S) elevation; slightly projecting cills to windows.
S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical arrangement. Central entrance to ground floor with late 20th century timber door with glazed upper panels; flanking tripartite windows with narrower side lights to ground and 1st floors; window above.
N ELEVATION: gable end of byre projects to right adjoining lean-to wing of house. Altered openings to left return.
E ELEVATION: blank gable end.
W ELEVATION: adjoins No 33 East High Street.
12-pane/multipane timber sash and case windows to principal (S) elevation. Grey slate roofs. Pair of flanking rendered ridge stacks, one coped, one with band course, to main body of house; round cans.
INTERIOR: not inspected (1998).
A handsome earlier 19th century house with prominent tripartite windows.
