Statement of Interest

Forms part of a small farm steading still associated with the nearby Clarabad farmhouse - see separate list entry. The horse mill is particularly notable for its open timber roof and engine room with machinery in place (1999) indicating the progress of the threshing process with agricultural improvement. Rutherfurd's notes a Mr Joseph Middlemas as farmer here in 1866.
