Description

Probably 19th century. Coped and coursed sandstone quadrant walls flanking entrance to SW of Spital House. Square-plan, pyramidal-capped, sandstone piers to outer left and right. Square-plan sandstone gatepiers with corniced, pyramidal caps; decorative iron gate.

Set to the SW of and still associated with Spital House, 1999 - see separate list entry. Spital Lodge remains in place just inside the entrance.
