Description

Probably mid 19th century. Terrace of 4 single storey, 3-bay cottages on corner site. Red sandstone with ashlar quoins.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Each cottage with boarded timber door and letterbox fanlight to centre and tripartite windows in flanking bays.

Horizontal, 12-pane glazing pattern to fixed centre horizontal-pane metal casement windows. Grey slates. Brick ridge stacks with cans.

Good survival of traditional row of farm cottages in prominent location. Clashbenny Farmhouse is listed separately.
