Description

1853, incorporating earlier fabric; extended 1866. Triangular-plan single storey random rubble building with ashlar dressings. Timber boarded door in roll-moulded round-arched surround to right, with large gun-loop to outer right and small window in round-arched surround to left. Remains of 19th century inner barrier, with spur stones, to centre. Later flat-arched entrance, with spur stones, to left.

Shouldered wallhead stack with circular can to centre.

INTERIOR: substantially altered 1989 to accommodate shop.
