Statement of Interest

Nicely detailed purpose-built little building, constructed on steeply sloping narrow site (which appears as a stone depot on the 1896 OS map) adjoining the Caledonian Railway line; one of the petitioners was the Caledonian Railway Company. It was designed by Morham just before he built the Lauriston Place Fire Station.
