Description

Circa 1810. 2 storey, 3-bay, symmetrical, rectangular-plan, gabled house. Canted dormers boarded up with timber lathes. Harled, coursed Caithness stone slabs. Plate glass shop front, widened. Regular fenestration with projecting margins. Modern additions abutting sides Rear elevation not seen 2001.

INTERIOR: not seen 2001.

4-pane sash and case windows. Grey slates, coped gable stacks, cast-iron rainwater goods.

The Group listing is in recognition of the exceptional group value of these buildings as the core of Thomas Telford s 1809 scheme for the new town plan of Pulteneytown for the British Fisheries Society.
