Description

Early 19th century, altered at ground. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay (above ground) tenement with shop at ground. Rubble with painted margins and roughly squared rubble quoins.

N ELEVATION: 2-leaf boarded timber door to centre bay at ground, 3 fixed display to flanking bays and full width fascia; 3 regularly-disposed windows to each floor above.

W ELEVATION: ground floor with broad fixed display window and fascia to left and narrow deep-set door to right, 2 windows to each floor above with 2 further small windows in gablehead, that to left blocked. Gable truncated by adjoining building to outer right.

Predominantly 4- and 12-pane glazing patterns (1 9-pane) in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Replacement coped brick stack retaining thackstane and cans to W gable.
