Description

1861. Milepost on Milngavie Road. Small single stage, rectangular, slightly bow-fronted cast-iron post with embossed pointing hands, names and miles. Situated at iron railings facing junction with Kilmardinny Avenue. Detailed 'GLASGOW ROYAL EXCHANGE 6' BALFRON 13?' (Miles partly obscured by raised pavement level).
