Description

Arthur Forman Balfour Paul, 1913. Rubble sandstone (from Rattlebags Quarry). 2-storey, 3-bay Arts and Crafts dwelling house. Mullioned and transomed windows; 3 gables.

S ELEVATION: 3 gabled front; central recessed porch with 5 windows flanking at ground floor; tripartite windows above at 1st floor.

Leaded windows. Slate roof; corniced stacks at gableheads.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble wall with semi-circular coping.

Statement of Interest

Purchased by the Christian Science organisation in 1949 as a residential home. Balfour Paul had become a partner with Rowand Anderson in 1904.
