Description

Peter L Henderson, circa 1882. 3-storey and attic, 7-bay tenement with pilastraded shop to ground floor and circular ogee-roofed corner turret corbelled out to right. Snecked sandstone with ashlar dressings. Continuous fascia and cornice to ground floor; cill course to 3rd floor. Timber panelled door to left of centre; 2-leaf timber panelled door to right of centre; plate glass fanlights. Bipartite windows and gablet-headed dormer to outer left. Paired windows to centre in decorative segmentally pedimented dormer with apex stack breaking eaves and flanking ball finials; scrolled relief between windows. Circular corner turret to outer right corbelled out from 1st floor; windows at 2nd and 3rd floors; cornice; finialled leaded dome. Pediment-headed dormer breaking eaves to left.

Predominantly non-traditional glazing with some plate glass in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Corniced stack with circular cans.
