Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 5-bay (above ground) small tenement with shops at ground, in irregular terrace. Ashlar with raised margins. Part ground floor cornice and band course, eaves cornice and blocking course. Timber-mullioned dormer windows.

SE (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: traditional corniced shop to centre at ground with deep-set 2-leaf panelled timber door to centre, flanking pilasters and display windows with toplights; further shops in flanking bays, that to right with door to left and that to left undergoing alteration at resurvey (2002). 5 regularly-disposed windows at 1st floor, and 3 piended dormer windows above.

12-, 6-pane over 2-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows; out-of-character windows to 2 windows to left at 1st floor. Grey slates. Coped brick stacks with cans.
