Later to late 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 2-bay flatted dwelling with shop at ground and 3-stage conical-roofed corner tower, closing irregular terrace. Stugged ashlar with ashlar margins. Ground floor cornice, base, band and eaves courses. Roll-moulded doorway. Stone mullions.
SE (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: 2-part fixed display window to left of centre with flanking pilasters and modern shop to right, 2 bipartite windows above with decorative cast-iron brattishing at eaves and set-back finialled, polygonal-roofed canted dormer window to right.
S (CORNER) ELEVATION: round tower with 2-leaf panelled timber door to canted 1st stage, jettied above to rounded 2nd and 3rd stages each with window, and surmounted by corniced and finialled conical roof.
SW ELEVATION: gabled bay to right of centre with windows to left at ground and 1st floor, and small attic window in gablehead, further window beyond to left at ground. Advanced gable to outer left with slated porch to right, pointed-arch window and door on return to right, with further panelled timber door and plate glass fanlight below window in re-entrant angle to right.
2-pane upper sashes over plate glass, and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows; windows to S with curved glass. Grey slates. Coped harled stacks with full complement of cans.
BOUNDARY WALLS: semicircular-coped rubble boundary walls.
Group with Nos 1 and 3-9 High Street.
