Description

Probably 18th or early 19th century. Single segmental-arched footbridge over the Core Burn. Roughly coursed rubble with narrow voussoirs and coped parapet largely obscured by ivy.

Statement of Interest

Good survival of a well constructed bridge of relatively early date. A similar example, separately listed, carries the Laird's Way Path over the same burn, but closer to Drybridge Village.
