The Farmhouse at Glen Falloch Farm is a 3-bay 2-storey building with a central porch, an M-pile roof and overhanging eaves. It is rendered and lined out. The house is a classical style building and some of its traditional lying pane glazing remains - this is becoming increasingly rare in the area. Probably constructed in the earlier 19th century Glen Falloch Farmhouse is a particularly good example of this simple classical type and it notably eschews the local gabled tradition. It has further local interest as it forms part of the local Glen Falloch estate, at one time a Campbell property, as indicated by the nearby burial enclosure (see separate listing).

The principal (East) elevation is symmetrical and has a central pitched roof porch with a 4-panel timber door with a simple semicircular fanlight above. There are gable stacks to the North, South and West and a ridge stack to the West. On the West elevation the chimney flue projects from the wall to part-way up the wall. To the left a ground floor opening has been widened and has non-traditional modern glazing.

MATERIALS

Lined out render, white. Graded slates. To the principal elevation there are lying pane timber sash and case windows (4-pane over 4-pane and 6-pane over 6-pane) to the outer bays. 2-pane over 2-pane to the middle window. The other elevations have a mixture of lying panes, 2-pane over 2-pane and some non-traditional replacement windows.

GATEPIERS

To the North is a pair of circular rubble gatepiers in the local style in poor repair.
