Description

Late 19th century. Single-storey and loft long stable range
with Baronial details. Snecked and stugged ashlar with
polished dressings; N end and centre bays crow-stepped, N bay
(providing domestic accommodation) advanced with splayed
angles at ground corbelled to square below eaves; hoodmoulded
and round-arched loft openings in gable heads. Variety of
segmentally arched cart openings lintelled doors and windows
in ground floor. Stepped parapet over/ranges linking centre
and end bays. Ridge and rear wallhead, shafted and coped
stacks, slate roof.
Modern rear addition of no value. Cast-iron panelled
gatepiers, corniced and with decorated ball finials;
cast-iron gates.
