History

Circa 1840.

Exterior

One and a half storey former house. Local rubble with freestone dressings (painted), slate roof. Street elevation of three bays; shallow plinth. Slightly advanced central bay has gable with scalloped bargeboards; two-light mullioned window with stone lintel, stone sill set at eaves level. Below this square-headed doorway with deep lintel and drip mould. To each side of central bay, on upper floor, gabled dormer with scalloped bargeboards and two-light mullioned window (as centre); on ground floor each bay has three-light mullioned window with deep chamfered stone lintel with dripmould, and stone sill. Gable ends have scalloped bargeboards, and projecting chimney breasts each with three tall stone stacks set diagonally.
