History

Probably early-to-mid C19.

Exterior

Main block has two-storey, three bay front with early to mid C19 details. Slate roof with end stacks; centre gabled dormer. Walls with cement render. Window openings with moulded architraves; 4-pane sash windows. In centre, paired doorways without doorcase, but with wooden architraves; both doors of six panels with top two panels glazed; modern shop door to right hand. Two storey extension with modern detailing to L. Right (SE) return has elevation with shop front on ground floor; then lower two-storey wing extending to Little Free Street with rounded corner; 6-pane sash window above a ground floor splayed bay window. Chimney in Little Free Street gable end.

Early-to-mid C19 building retaining its overall character with Group Value with listed buildings in the Watton.
