History

Early C19, Georgian.

Exterior

Belongs to a group of 15-19 Llanfair Road, Newtown.

3 storey and cellar, Flemish bond brick terrace. Nos 15 and 16 originally back to back. Gently pitched new slate roof, saw toothed eaves cornice. Deep rectangular brick stacks, (removed from No 15). Shallow upper sashes to 12 pane 2nd floor windows. 16 pane sashes to 1st and ground floors. All original. Gauged brick voussoirs, plain reveals, stone sills. Modern windows inserted to gable end of No 15. Original doorcases with leaded dripboards on brackets. Original 6 panel doors to Nos 15, 16 and 17. Centre panels glazed to No 17. Series of slates nailed over dripboard on No 17.

Rear elevations much modernised to Nos 15 and 16. Tall small staircase windows survive on Nos 17 and 19. Partly blocked on No 18. Gauged brick voussoirs. Rear elevation of No 19 well preserved.
