History

Exterior

Georgian 3-storey scribed stucco elevations, 2-windows to Bridge Street, 1-window to corner and 3-windows to Queen Street. Hipped slate roof, rubble chimney stacks and wide bracket eaves. Small-pane sash windows, blocked to left hand bay of Bridge Street front. Broad wrapround shop front with bracket cornice (damaged at corner), fluted Ionic pilasters and panelled apron; ‘tessellated doormat’ and half-glazed doors on the corner. Shopfront terminated to left in Ironic doorcase to No 44 Queen Street, fluted piers, panelled reveals, 8-panel doors and traceried fanlight; small pane sash window to left.
