History

Mid C19.

Exterior

Terrace of three houses in brown squared stone with slate roof and three stone stacks. Three-storey two-window range each, small 6-pane upper windows, 12-pane sashes windows elsewhere and doors with overlights to ground floors on left. Painted slate sills, cambered door and window heads with stone voussoirs. Bracketed eaves. No 2 has had the two upper windows blocked and a large C20 dormer added. No 1 has small gabled addition on end wall.

A handsome stone terrace of fine quality masonry, probably built shortly after 1847, and earlier than No. 4 which is slightly taller and has more precise masonry. Little altered apart from upper floor and dormer at
No 2.
