History

Marked on 1847 Tithe Map, probably as item 23, the house owned by DavidáEvans, Neuadd, and occupied by Captain Griffith Lloyd.
Early to mid C19.

Exterior

Terrace house in squared brown rubble stone with imitation slate roof and stone end stacks. Two-storey three-window range with plastic C20 windows imitating 12-pane sashes, slate sills and cut stone voussoirs. Centre original 6-panel door with plain overlight. Stone voussoirs. Voussoirs and right hand cornerstones are crudely tooled for emphasis. Low terrace in front with passage to right to basement door.

Reasons for Listing

Included, despite window alterations, for group value in one of the earliest terraces in New Quay.
