History

Earlier C19 terraced front, of one build with No 3 Castle Square. The shop front has been altered since 1974 listing when it had shop fronts in moulded eared frames.

Exterior

Terraced house and shop. Painted stucco with ornate C19 eaves cornice of close-spaced large modillion brackets, and slate roof. Three storeys, three window-range with large 4-pane horned sashes to upper floors and modern double-fronted shop-front to ground floor with recessed plate glass window each side of further-recessed door, in imitation Victorian casing of piers, fascia and cornice.
