History

Early C19 or earlier house, earlier than the stepped row of three small two-bay houses added to the left. The roof was of cemented slate in 1974.

Exterior

End-terrace house, painted roughcast and imitation slate close eaved roof. Red brick small rebuilt end stacks. Two storeys and attic, three bays. Renewed pair of hipped eaves dormers with 9-pane sashes. Three hornless 12-pane first floor sashes. Ground floor has two large windows with modern small-paned glazing and centre door. Left window is larger than right one. Painted sills and plinth. Modern 6-panel door in plain stucco surround, with no overlight.

Reasons for Listing

Included for its special architectural interest as part of a terrace of smaller houses overlooking churchyard of St Martin's church.
