C20 area wall with piers and steel bar rails.
Early C19 cottage, colourwashed rubble stone with slate roof and E end stone stack. Two storeys, 6-panel door to left and one window-range to right, small 9-pane sash above, 12-pane below, with painted stone voussoirs to cambered heads and painted stone sills.
Included as a good representative example of an unaltered vernacular small house, now very rare in the area.
