History

Detached house of circa 1913.

Exterior

Two storeys plus attic; red brick and pebbledash with red tiled roof, bathstone dressings to some ground floor windows, tall rendered chimneys to ends. Mainly modern glazing with square cames respecting original openings. Front has to R, advanced steeply-pitched gable bay (half-timbering to apex), 3-light first floor window, below this splayed bay window under steeply-pitched tiled roof. To R, (centre) of gable, flat-roofed attic dormer; roof sweeps down to first floor, large hipped dormer with 4-light window to front (turns to R as 3 lights); below this, recessed loggia flanked by windows in bathstone dressings, window to rear, doorway to L. Left elevation has entrance doorway under bracketed hood.

Included as part of good well-preserved group of early C20 housing on W side of Eden Avenue.
