History

C19 pigsty with small yards at the front and enclosed sleeping room at the back. The design incorporates a series of stone feeding shutes in front wall (now blocked).

Exterior

Three C19 pigsties in linear range. Walls of rubble stone; gabled slate roof with tile ridge. Each pigsty has a small front yard bounded by stone walls with flat coping. The front wall of each yard has a square stone feeding shoot (now blocked). At the back of each yard, doorways lead into an enclosed sleeping chamber.

Well- preserved C19 pigsty, having group value with the listed Farmhouse and the Cider House at Upper White Castle, White Castle ruins and the other listed buildings at White Castle.
