History

Early to mid C19 terraced house. Building shown on this site on 1844 tithe map. Possibly built as pair with No 1 due to similar height of roofs.

Exterior

Terraced house, unpainted roughcast cladding, with imitation slate roof, continuous with No 1, slightly higher than No 5, and shared brick end stacks. Two-storey, double-fronted, with 12-pane sash windows, smaller in upper storey and central doorway. All openings offset slightly to left. C20 part-glazed door with plain overlight.
In 1978 facade was stuccoed and there was a 6-panel door with traceried overlight.

Reasons for Listing

Included as earlier C19 terraced house with original glazing.
