History

Mid C19 terraced house, of similar height to Nos 9 and 13. Occupied by W. H. Butler James, tax collector in 1926.

Exterior

Terraced house and shop, painted stucco with slate close eaved roof and left end brick stack. Three storeys, one bay with central triple horned plate glass sash to second and first floor. Ground floor has full-width recessed C20 shopfront. Left side of upper floors has a channelled pier echoing that at left side of No 13.

Interior not inspected.

Included for its special architectural interest as a three-storey stucco building in late Georgian style, of group value.
