Abingdon Bridge Burford Bridge

A Grade II Listed Building in Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Burford Bridge, Abingdon

Uploader's Comments

One of the two interlinked bridges in Abingdon, it was built in the 1450s as an extension to the existing Abingdon Bridge. It's obviously been restored and reconstructed several times since (last in 1927)! However the structure apparently still includes and embeds parts of several of the original arches.
