For the older shields, possibly Argent a fess between three escallops sable (Boteler) and Per fess dancetty azure and or a label of five points for difference (Wassingley), as the same without the label could be (le Butiler) (Papworth, Alphabetical Dictionary of Heraldry). The lozenge shaped panel, with Sable a fret argent, a crescent for difference, represents the Arms of Harrington. (Photo Apr 2014).
